“Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allaah — Islamic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allaah verily, in the remembrance of Allaah do hearts find rest”

[al-Ra’d 13:28]

“Verily, those who are Al-Muttaqoon (the pious), when an evil thought comes to them from Shaytaan (Satan), they remember (Allaah), and (indeed) they then see (aright)”

[al-A’raaf 7:201]

:: Hadith ke 10 ::

Abu Hurairah, radiyallahu 'anhu, reported that the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, said:
“Verily Allah the Exalted is pure. He does not accept but that which is pure. Allah commands the believers with what He commanded the Messengers. Allah the Almighty has said: "O you Messengers! Eat of the good things and act righteously" [23:51-53]. And Allah the Almighty also said: "O you who believe! Eat of the good things that We have provided you with" [2:167-172].Then he (the Prophet) mentioned (the case of) the man who, having journeyed far, is dishevelled and dusty and who stretches out his hands to the sky (saying): "O Lord! O Lord!" (while) his food was unlawful, his drink was unlawful, his clothing was unlawful, and he is nourished with unlawful things, so how can he be answered?”

Lesson:
1. Toyyib = yg baik
2. eating lawful food
3. hadith dr Abu Huraira ' if a man goes to Hajj from a good money and says ' Labaikallah.....' a caller from the heaven replies ' your food and your provision for your journey are halal and your hajj is mabrur. and if a man goes to Hajj from a halal money.. the caller will reply otherwise.
4. dr Ibn Abbas pula ' Allah will not accept prayer that has haram in his body.
5. 5 characters for a deed to be accepted
- believe and knowing of Allah
-doing the truth
-doing deeds sincerely
- according to sunnah
-eat lawful food
6. when it come to charity that is from haram source, it is not accepted. Nabi said ' solat is not accepted without wuduk and charity is not accepted in the presence of haram source.
7. Abu Hurairah from the Prophet 'whoever earns from haram and do charity, he will not be rewarded but would be punished
8, Abu Darda' bg example, org yg guna duit haram utk charity samalah dgn org yg mengambil duit orphan and bg charity
9. doa is highly accepted when :
- going for a long travel sbb dgn bnyk travel akan bnyk kesusahan (musafir)
-not taking care of oneself ( memakai pakaian yg buruk ) - spt hamba....so lebeh berasa sgt lemah and terasa bhw kita adalah hamba yg hina
- raise hand to heaven ( angkat tgn ) cth: nabi masa minta hujan and masa perang badar
-repeat ' Ya Rabb Ya Rabb Ya Rabb 3 kali

poem:
How come we can hope our du'a to be accepted but we have blocked our du'a with our sins

:: Book of Patience: 102 ::

hadith yg bermaksud:
Nabi saw said to the companions that one day there will be unjust rulers who take away your rights and distribute to their families for luxury. And the companions asked ' what shall we do?'. and the Prophet replied ' do not fight your rulers, instead obey your rulers and make du'a to Allah to give back your rights and for the rulers to be just.

explaination:
1. in this situation it is no need for us to fight for the sake of our rights, but make du'a as suggested by the Prophet. be patience
2. one day a man asked Ali r.a , what so many people disobey him, but during the time of Abu Bakr and Umar such problems never occured. and Ali r.a replied ' People at that time were like me (companions with good faith), but people at this time is what you see'. As you can see here, good people make good rulers and vice versa. During the Umayyad dynasty someone asked the Caliph with the same question. the Caliph replied ' if you want us (rulers) to be just, the people have to be good too'.
3. hadith di atas bertepatan dgn hadith ke-7
'"Religion is nasihah." We said: "To whom?" The Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said: "To Allah and His Book, and His messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk."'
di mana kita disuruh utk patuh ( berpandukan syariat islamiah) and memberi nasihat kpd rulers.

references:
Sahih Muslim page 120 Vol 2 : Huthayfah al-Yemani, may Allah be pleased with him, quotes the Prophet (pbuh) saying: "There will be rulers after me who will neither guide according to my guidance, nor follow my Sunnah; and there will be among them men whose hearts are like those of the devils' clad in human form." Huthayfah asked him (pbuh): "What shall I do then, O Messenger of Allah, if I happen to witness that?" He (pbuh) answered: "You shall listen to the ruler and obey him; if he whips your back and confiscates your property, you will still have [no choice but] to listen and obey."
Similar to this hadith is one narrated by Umm Salamah thus: "There will be [unjust] rulers over you, and you will either acknowledge [their being unjust] or deny it. Those who acknowledge shall be considered innocent, while those who deny it will be saved from chastisement." They asked him (pbuh): "Are we not supposed to fight them?" He answered: "No, as long as they uphold their prayers."

:: Salam dari Uqbah : Book of Patience, Season 1 episod 1 ::

kali ni kita dgr citer pasal Ummu Sulaim ( ibu kpd Anas bin Malik)...suatu haritu anak dia meninggal....bila suami dia Abu talhah balik..dia pon bergegas bersiap2, mandi and menghias diri....bila suami dia tanya perihal anak nya...Ummu Sulaim pun menjawab. "He is now in peace"....
Tanpa berfikir pjng, Abu Talhah pun berasa gembira....walhal Ummu Sulaim bermaksud yg anak dia sudah meninggal and hidup berbahgia di jannah...tp pd Abu Talhah anak dia sihat sejahtera
malam itu mereka bersama, and esok pagi barula Ummu Sulaim menerangkan yg anak mereka sebenarnya sudah tiada. Tiada langsung rasa marah Abu Talhah terhadap isteri nya.
esok pagi, Abu Talhah berjumpa Nabi saw. nabi pun bgtau yg Allah telah merahmati mereka berdua....
bbrp bulan kemudian Ummu Sulaim mengandung and then melahirkan anak....bernama Abdullah....Abdullah kemudian mempunyai 9 org anak lelaki yg semuanya adalah Qari....Subhanallah

lesson:
1. bersifat sabar setelah mendengar berita buruk
2. kita dibenarkan utk 'tawriah' = dlm bahasa melayunya bahasa berkias......bkn menipu...x sama...lihatlah bagaimana Ummu Sulaim berkata kpd suami nya...namun begitu kiasan hendaklah pd tpt yg perlu shj....supaya tidak menimbulkan berbalahan...

nota: Book of Patience di bawakan dr Uqbah oleh Br Muhammad. ulasan di atas adalah ringkasan dr isi penerangan oleh Br Muhammad.

:: Salam dr Uqbah - Hadith ke-9 ::

Abu Hurairah 'Abd al-Rahman bin Sakhr, radiyallahu 'anhu, reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, say:
Avoid that which I forbid you to do and do that which I command you to do to the best of your capacity. Verily the people before you were destroyed only because of their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their Prophets.”

hadith ni berasal dr pertanyaan salah sorang muslim mengenai hajj, adakah perlu diperfom every year. lalu jwb nabi jika itulah makan mereka tidak akan mampu.

pd suatu ketika yg lain, nabi tgh mengajar, ada org tanya siapakah bapaknya.. nabi kemudian ke mimbar dgn perasan marah dan berkata ' bapak kamu adalaha Hudhaifah'. Umar r.a yg melihat nabi dlm keadaan marah pon berkata 'Allah is our lord, Islam is our religion, Muhammad is our prophet the uran is our book..........'Umar was trying to cool down the prophet. Later an ayat from Surah Al Maidah was revealed. (rujuk ayat 101) bermaksud
' hai org2 yg beriman, jgnlah kamu menanyakan (nabimu) hal2 yg jika diterangkan kpdmu, niscaya menyusahkan kamu dan jikakamu menyanyakan diwaktu Quran itu sdg diturunkan, niscayakan akan diterangkan kpd mu'

- hadith di atas menunjukkan bhw nabi tidak menggalak kita utk bertanya things that not yet happen
- we should make effort to learn the religion rather than asking questions. Insya Allah kalo kita make effort to learn, Allah will make it easy for us.
- benda2 yg tak boleh di tanya ialah benda yg tak happen lagik, and benda yg selalu ditanya oleh org2 fasiq (etc) - bertanya krn kemegahan/ utk menang arguement etc.
- ask things that will make us closer to Allah.
-Nabi tidak menggalakan penduduk Madina utk bertanya, tp sebaliknya menggalakn org2 Badawi yg tinggal jauh dr Madina utk bertanya.supaya mereka lebeh dekat terhadap Islam.
- ' do not ask things that do not happen' -->diperkatakan oleh companions bila org bertanya mereka soalan.
- the good deeds can be done for being obedient and disobedient
- if you want tu surpass a pious person, avoid making sins.
- leaving the act of disobedient is better that doing the act of obedient (optional ibadah) cth pulangkan duit yg haram better dr sedekah
- superior bila org yg nak buat sin tiba2 dia teringat kekuasaan Allah and leave the sin
- 'Piety is not doing night prayers, and fastings or both but doing what Allah has asked to do and leave that Allah has forbidden' -->Umar Abd Aziz
- leaving the haram is mandatory and no excuse.
